The attraction for art was always a constant in the lives of Morenu, who always drew landscapes and created some clay and wood sculptures during his childhood. Being a middle class family and related to the area of health, for her mother Adiela was a nurse and his father Gustavo dentist, grew up with strong influences on this environment, having to make a major decision when he was 15 years or Medical Artist: Big dilemma!

As the art and medicine two passions, he decided to take a step forward in glimpsing the possibility of future work on what he considered the noblest of the media: the human body. Was born, the future plastic surgeon Dr. Gustavo Rincon Moreno.

During the faculty of medicine at the University of Quindio, 3 samples conducted several studies com internal painting, exploring materials and techniques through drawing, mixed media, until the color, now his great passion.

During the years from 1985 to 2003, remained outside the galleries and artists' salons, maturing its work and looking for what he considered his own style, participate in workshops with teachers such as Leonel Gongora, Maria Paz Jaramillo and Jim Amaral. Was influenced in his work of the great Impressionists but his work can be classified as such. Lover of the human form, his work is a mixture of psychopathology presented society with strong colors that dance frantically between fluctuating and conflicting ways.

In 2006 she traveled to New York to visit galleries, work for inspiration in the streets and parks of the big apple, he sold many paintings as a street performer to help their livelihood in those distant lands. Returning to Colombia in 1997, decided to travel to Brazil to pursue specialization in general surgery and plastic surgery later in art that developed since 2003.
